Illustration n°1 : Siberian tiger

The Siberian tiger is also called the Amur Tiger after the name of the region (between China and Mongolia) where it still survives in very small numbers. The male reaches 2.7 to 3.5 metres from head to tail (105 to 120 cm at the withers) and it weighs 160 to 306 kg.
