When a company paying tax in France makes a donation to a non-profit making organisation, it benefits from a reduction on corporation tax.
For companies, the tax reduction is equal to 60% of the sum of the donation made in cash, competence or kind, and within the limit of 0.5% of pre-tax profit, with the possibility, if this ceiling is exceeded, of carrying forward the excess over the next five years.
