Conservation of species

Such rare, such precious animals

We act in several countries, helping local populations to conserve their wildlife: Madagascar, Brazil, Kenya, Philippines, Colombia, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, etc. The objective of Mulhouse zoo is to conserve the most endangered species in their original environment.

Mulhouse zoo is one of the founding members of the CEPA, Conservation des Espèces et Populations Animales (Animal Population and Species Conservation) which strives to protect forgotten animal species. It takes part in several international animal research and conservation programmes like, for example, the EEP European Endangered Species programme.
